Faces for self regulation. A child friendly resource that helps children express how they are feeling by identifying with the expressions on the faces. The feel of the clay is aesthetically pleasing for children with sensory needs and the inviting colours provide them with the opportunity to explore how each face is shaped. The idea is that children use these faces to express how they are feeling without having to rely on verbal communication. This is an excellent way to get non verbal, ASD or any other children who battle to express themselves to show how they are feeling. This set comes in the colours (2 faces per colour): dark blue dark green yellow cherry red If you are interested in a set, find me on my etsy account, link below: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/855681549/polymer-clay-emotions-faces-8-faces-per?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=polymer+clay+faces&ref=sr_gallery-1-14&organic_search_click=1&frs=1&cns=1

Get me to green

This resource is based on the zone of regulation whereby a child identifies that they are not in a state of calm and then execute a task that helps them get to that calm (green zone) state. This book is interactive, child friendly and allows communication with an adult without actually having to speak. There is a four step process to it: 1.) What zone am I in now? 2.) What zone to I want to be in? 3.) What can I do to get there? 4.) What zone am I in now? It uses velcro in each section which is an excellent sensory activity for children. It also allows them to feel through that act of completion through more than one sense For a quick glance in the book, check out the link below: https://www.instagram.com/p/CEETBTcBZVD/
